My post yesterday
inadvertently got cut a bit short, and I did not want these beauties to feel left out. They might get their feelings hurt, you know.

I noticed just the tiniest bit of growth on our
hibiscus plant today. It always looks totally dead until June. I always think that it is done-for, never coming back, dead-for-sure this year; and then suddenly new little green shoots start coming out of the ground in June. There are still a few more months before it starts to bloom, but I just cannot wait for these flowers to begin again!
And pansies. Pansies just make me smile. They are just so cheery with their money faces in so many assorted colors. I also love that if they can survive the heat of summer they will come back year after year. They start blooming way before most other flowers, can survive frosts and freezes, and just always put their best face forward. What they cannot tolerate is heat. Sort of like me. I cannot tolerate heat. Of course I cannot tolerate cold either. Dear hubby says I have a 5 degree temperature tolerance range. I think he is being generous, it is probably really more like 3 degrees.
Anyways, my life would be incomplete without pansies.
Fuchsia. I love
fuchsia baskets. The little flowers remind me of ballet dancers with big fluffy tutus. They make me happy.

Aren't we so fortunate that God gave us so many flowers to love?
