Oh my poor neglected blog. I see that the last thing I posted was in October. Really, I have been doing stuff between October and now. Probably doing too much stuff, which is why I have not blogged. I have just been doing the normal things like preparing for and enjoying Thanksgiving and Christmas and getting ready to move to Alaska. Say What? You don't think moving to Alaska is just a normal thing? Well, I guess neither do I. In October a move to Alaska was not even on the radar for us. But I have to say that once the ball started rolling everything has moved along pretty quickly.
So we are trading the wilderness and mountains of Idaho for even bigger wilderness and mountains of Alaska. And amazingly God has given me peace and calm the majority of the time throughout this whole process. I say the majority of the time because there HAVE been a few moments of fear, panic and general feelings of "are we insane?" But so far I have overwhelmingly felt peace.
