Last post I showed you the downstairs. This post we will go up!
Here we are in the family room again looking back at the entry. You go back this way to the stairs.
Up the stairs. Alaska houses have a lot of stairs. You don't see very many one story houses. I think it is for heating purposes. Two stories give a smaller footprint to heat and a smaller footprint to lose heat. Plus hot air rises, so upstairs bedrooms will be warmer in winter.

To the left of Chris' room is another bedroom that is the guest room.

Turn to the left in the master bedroom and there is a jetted tub.

I really love this office area. It has tons of space and bookshelves and gets great light! It would be nice if it was someplace other than off the master bedroom, but really it is one of my favorite features of the house.
